IA-UNAM Ensenada sits within Ensenada’s main scientific and academic corridor, alongside major research and higher-education institutions. Expect a professional campus environment with controlled access, on-site parking areas, and short walking distances between rooms.

Access, entry, and on-site practicalities

Entry & security
  • Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early on Day 1 for campus entry and badge pick-up.

  • Bring a photo ID for campus access if requested at the entrance.

  • Wear your conference badge visibly inside the venue.

Accessibility
  • Main conference rooms are on accessible routes suitable for participants with mobility needs.

  • If you require specific accommodations (seating, step-free routes, assistive hearing support), contact the organizers at least two weeks before arrival (see Chapter 09).

Wi-Fi, power, and working areas
  • Wi-Fi: Guest access details will be provided at registration and posted in the venue.

  • Power: Limited outlets are available; bring a power strip if you rely on multiple devices.

  • Quiet work space: A designated corner of the Poster & Networking Hall will be set up for laptop work between sessions.

  • Standard slide format: 16:9

  • Bring slides on a USB drive and/or cloud link; arrive during the break before your session to test.

  • HDMI is the default connector; bring adapters for USB-C/mini-DP if needed.

  • A shared presenter laptop will be available; you may also use your own (test audio/video in advance).
